Sharjah Emiri Court became the first governmental entity in the emirate of Sharjah to adopt the smart approval application of Sharjah Finance Department (SFD)

The smart electronic accreditation application which allows the higher administrative levels in the department to accept electronic approvals for all types of documents and transactions.

This came during a visit organised by SFD to the Emiri Court, during which the two sides discuss the benefits of the new smart system.

The SFD delegation included Waleed Al Sayegh, General Director of Sharjah Finance Department, and Huda Al Yassi, Director of the Department's Financial System. The delegation was received by Rashid bin Al Sheikh, Chief of the Sharjah Emiri Court.

Rashid bin Al Sheikh lauded the efforts of SFD in adopting the latest technologies and best international practices to facilitate financial transitions and procedures. This, he added, reflects the digitisation strategies followed by Sharjah’s government, under the visionary directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the development of financial services.

For his part, Waleed Al Sayegh noted that Sharjah government has managed to achieve many milestones at Arab and regional levels in various technical fields, especially concerning smart and electronic systems, programs, and applications. Innovation to facilitate services for customers.

This serves to deliver the quality approach taken by the department in providing smart services to facilitate the customers, and to achieve its vision of building an innovation-based financial system to enhance sustainability and prosperity in the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates, he added.
